Article Processing Charges

1. General Information

Forum Multimedia Publishing publishes all of its journals in Gold Open Access and under the Creative Commons (CC-BY) license. Upon acceptance, and before publication, the payment of an Article Processing Charge (APC) will be requested. The APC covers part of the costs of staffing, web hosting, long-term archiving and general publishing costs, with the remainder of the costs being covered by donations and sponsorship.

Note:

  • Invoices are emailed shortly after acceptance to the payment contact provided by the authors.
  • APCs are payable within 5 business days.
  • The journal will not support any kind of refund once you pay the APC.
  • Both journals are free of submission fees.

2. Journal Specific APCs

European cells & materials (eCM, ISSN: 1473-2262): 2500 USD

International Journal of Whole Schooling (IJWS, ISSN: 1710-2146): 1800 USD

  • Local VAT or local taxes will be added if applicable.
  • 4%–5% Transaction fee may be charged by the credit card company.

3. Waiver and Discounts

Forum Multimedia Publishing provides discounts or full waivers for authors who meet any of the following criteria:

  • Authors from low-income countries (as defined by the World Bank and Research4Life)
  • Authors without funding support or whose institutions do not provide sufficient open access funding
  • Members of the Editorial Board
  • Members of the Review Board
  • Members of the Journal’s partner societies

Author fees or waiver status should not influence editorial decision-making. For waivers or discounts, please contact the Editorial Office of the journals before submission.

4. Ways of Payment and Instructions

  • To Pay by Credit Card
    You can click this button and follow the instructions to pay with credit card.
  • Bank Transfer
    After acceptance, the corresponding author will receive an official invoice with detailed payment instructions.

IMPORTANT: When making payment, please ensure the Journal name / Manuscript NO. are clearly indicated in the details of the bank transfer. If you have already made a successful payment, please send a copy of the payment voucher to us. Only after receiving your payment voucher will we proceed to the next step.
